Uniform

We have a school uniform for the children to wear, which is based on blue, grey and white. All items are available to buy from the school or at local shops, including Clemmy’s or Ethel Austin.
 

Boys: Navy school sweat top/jumper, white polo/shirt, grey trousers.
Girls: Navy school sweat top/jumper/cardigan, white polo/shirt, grey trousers or grey skirt.  Blue and white gingham dress in the summer (optional).

PE Kit: Black shorts/cycling shorts and white t-shirt for boys and girls, plimsolls and, when appropriate, trainers for outdoor sessions. In colder weather jogging bottoms and sweat tops are fine. Please put kit in a clearly labelled pump bag to hang on your child’s peg. Shorts and t-shirts are available to buy from the school office priced at £1.50 for  t-shirts and £2 for shorts. Children who go swimming will need a costume, towel and a swimming hat. Hats can be purchased from the school office in a variety of colours for 70p.

Children should have a proper PE kit to wear in school – baggy shorts and t-shirts are not acceptable for health and safety reasons. Please ensure that your child has the correct kit.  Many parents find it easy to send kit on a Monday and take it home for washing on a Friday.

jewelleryJewellery such as earrings, rings and necklaces can be dangerous, especially during PE or while children are playing in the playground. For safety reasons we request that no jewellery be worn in school. Please do not have your children’s ears pierced if they are due to go swimming.
