Well it was magic squares. We had to complete the puzzle in the time allowed. We managed it, just but we weren't the first. That honour went to a pupil from another school. He was FAST! Back at school I even challenged my teacher to do it quickly. As you can guess, she did it!

It was all good fun and now we are looking forward to next week.

On Tuesday, 5 budding mathematicians (Thomas, Megan, Mitchell, Jacob and myself) were invitied to a special maths treat hosted by the maths department at St Thomas More, Willenhall.  We will be going for the next 6 weeks and we are already looking forward to the next thrilling instalment.

This week we looked at optical illusions and maths puzzles.  It was exciting and challenging stuff!
