Planning and Exhibition Day

As part of our Eco-Schools Project the whole school worked on activities relating to environmental awareness in January and February 1999.

Led by Rob Bounds from Groundwork, a series of Eco-School Workshops were held on Transport - designing a futuristic vehicle, Healthy Living - designing a healthy garden, School Grounds - IT based activity designing improvements to the school grounds, Litter - undertaking a litter survey, Energy - conducting an energy audit and making posters, Water - conducting a water audit and making water conservation posters.

The Eco-Schools committee made a scale model of the school grounds on which all pupils, staff, parents, governors and visitors to the school could record their ideas on flags placed on the model.  Click on each picture to see an enlarged version.
